“It’s not just the spectacular coastal panorama that gives Sa Serra some serious wow-factor, this villa is luxuriously appointed too.”
Perched high up on a pine-covered hill on the west coast of Ibiza, the views from this luxury villa stretch from one end of the horizon to the other – even as far as the mystical islet of Es Vedrà. And you can soak the breathtaking scene from numerous vantage points around the property, including its huge pool terrace. Jump in the car, and you’re just minutes from some of the island’s best beaches like Cala Conta and Cala Bassa. But chances are you’ll soon be missing the unrivalled vistas, and top-level comforts, of this outstanding holiday home.
The Design
It’s not just the spectacular coastal panorama that gives Sa Serra some serious wow-factor, this villa is luxuriously appointed too. You enter through a studded timber front door to a double-height reception flooded with light, and into a large open-plan space combining lounge, dining and kitchen. From here, large glass doors slide open onto large terrace areas on either side, one with those incredible views and the other is ideal for entertaining with its bar area, barbecue and plenty of seating. The sea facing terrace has a shaded dining table, lounge area and stairs down to the pool.
Light-filled interiors have been styled with an eclectic mix of Balearic minimalism, rustic chic and exotic touches. Designer furnishings are by brands like Varaschin and Sluiz, both inside the main living area and dotted around the numerous outside terrace. So take a seat, sit back and admire those views in comfort.
The Details
Steps lead down to the huge lower level terrace where you’ll find a similarly large pool. It’s 12 x 7 metres to be exact with different levels to make it great for kids to play in, while also being big enough for a swim. There are enough cushioned sun loungers poolside for every guest to dry off on post-dip, as well as a poolside pergola where you can take a break from the sunshine. Fancy some quiet reflection? The roof terrace is the ideal spot for an early morning yoga session.
Just off the rear sun-dappled patio is a modern kitchen with Bosch appliances and everything you’ll need to cook and entertain. If you’d rather something flame grilled, there’s a built-in coal barbecue just outside. The kitchen also extends to a dining area, or for the alfresco experience head out to the open terrace where a long table and views await – perfect for a magical sunset dinner.
Spread over two floors, the villa’s four bedrooms can sleep up to eight guests. Most have big floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning sea views, some you can enjoy without getting out of bed. Each has its own ensuite bathroom too, with wall-in rainfall shower and bathtub in larger rooms.
