What’s the best time of year to visit Mexico?

Mexico can be visited throughout the year with average temperatures of 24°C to 30°C. In general, the dry season runs November to April with the warmest and sunniest weather. The wet season runs May to October and often brings with it afternoon rain. The upside to this wetter time of year is quieter crowds and lush green landscapes.

How many days do I need in Mexico?

If you are travelling from Europe, a week is recommended based on the travel time and time difference. If you are coming from North America, a shorter trip of four or five days is worth it. Mexico is very large and to really explore a number of popular destinations, a two or three week trip is advisable.

Mexico’s varied landscapes span tropical beaches, towering volcanoes and thick jungle with electric cities, ancient ruins and historic towns in between. Here you can enjoy holidays immersed in nature, exploring the country’s rich culture or soaking up its thriving art, design and food scenes.

How do I get to Mexico?

The Caribbean coast and Tulum is best reached via Cancun airport (CUN) which has direct flights to the US, Canada, UK and Europe.
