Luxury Villas Puerto Escondido

Luxury Villas Puerto Escondido

White sand beaches, world-class surfing and luxury villa holidays along Oaxaca’s culture-rich Pacific Coast.

Why Puerto Escondido Is Best Experienced in a Luxury Villa

Still relatively undeveloped compared to the Yucatan Peninsula, the Puerto Escondido coast offers space and a chance to dive further into the rich culture of the Oaxaca region. This is a land of pre-Hispanic settlements, multigenerational craftspeople and a cuisine all of its own. One that calls explorers, foodies and creatives searching for inspiration.

Days in Puerto Escondido are spent riding waves at Zicatela Beach, swimming in the bioluminescent waters of Manialtepec Lagoon or savouring fresh ceviche with your toes in the sand soaking up a Pacific sunset.

Quietly becoming a design hub, Puerto Escondido is best experienced in one of the area’s extraordinary villas. Our collection of fully staffed luxury villas in Puerto Escondido are all designed by notable architects including Bosco Sodi, Alberto Calleja and Anonymous Architects. Each day is punctuated with meals at home and plenty of time to relax in the private pool or array of beautifully-designed outdoor spaces.

Puerto Escondido makes a great family holiday for all ages. If you are looking for a nature and culture-packed destination, both adults and children will be happy. There are some beaches with calmer waters suitable for children and older kids can try surf lessons. One thing to bear in mind is that many beaches are accessed via steps and rugged paths which aren’t suitable for prams.

Puerto Escondido offers that quintessential barefoot beach experience with its laidback surf culture, tropical weather and spectacular landscapes. Less developed than its Caribbean neighbours, here you can discover the fascinating Oaxaca culture.
