These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Maven Global SL. The terms “Guest”, “You” and “Your” refer to the person booking the property. The terms “We”, “Us”, “Our” and “Maven Collection” refer to Maven Global SL. “Owner” refers to the representative or owner of the property. “Property” is the property booked by the Guest.

YOUR VILLA BOOKING:

By making a booking, you confirm that you are over 30 years of age and will be present during the whole rental period. You also agree on behalf of all those staying at the Property to have read and to be bound by these terms and conditions. To confirm your booking the Agency must receive deposit payment of 50% of the total rental fee within 48 hours of your confirmation and the remaining 50% no later than 42 days, (six calendar weeks), before your arrival at the Property. If your reservation is made less than 42 days before your arrival date the Agency must receive 100% of the total rental fees within 48 hours of making the booking. Any late payments will be accepted only at the discretion of the Agency and the Owner, and may result in cancellation of your booking. You will not be allowed access to the Property unless payment has been made in full. Payments must be made in Euros and the Guest is solely responsible for any bank charges incurred.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

On agreeing to these terms and conditions, the Guest agrees to contract their own travel insurance to cover the entire stay.

SCOPE OF OUR SERVICE:

We provide a marketing service to Property owners to market their homes for holiday rental purposes. We do not provide the villa maintenance or Property management service and the Owner employs his/her own staff for these purposes. You acknowledge that Maven Collection acts on behalf of the Owner to make the reservation and that you are entering into a contractually binding relationship with the Owner whose Property you are renting. Maven Collection will act as intermediary between the Guest and the Owner.

CAUTIONARY DEPOSIT:

Any breakages, damage or loss caused to the Property or its contents during the rental period may result in the forfeit of some or the entire cautionary deposit amount which is defined in the booking details of each Property listing. By confirming your booking, you are authorising Maven Collection to charge your credit card for any damage caused on presentation of photographic evidence and/or receipts for repair or replacement, up to the maximum amount of the cautionary deposit. If the cost of the damage to the Property is greater than the value of the cautionary deposit, the Guest will still be liable to the Owner for the full cost of the damage and will be put in contact with the Owner to resolve such a claim. Some Owners require the cautionary deposit to be paid in advance of arrival by bank transfer. This will be detailed in the booking confirmation of the Property. Maven Collection reserves the right to deduct any outstanding supplier payments including, but not limited to, shopping deliveries, chef services, car rental and transfers from the Guest's cautionary deposit if these are not settled before departure from the Property.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To cancel your booking, you must provide the Agency with written notice of your cancellation. If Maven Collection receives this notice more than 180 days prior to check in at the Property, your deposit will be returned, less a €250 plus VAT administration fee which is withheld by the Agency. If notice is received less than 180 days prior to your arrival at the Property, all payments made are non-refundable.

LIABILITY:

You are solely responsible for all damages, injuries and losses in connection with the occupancy or use of the Property. Neither the Agency nor the Owner is liable for any delays, accidents, damages, injuries or losses suffered by you or your guests. The Agency is not responsible for the actions or faults of the Owner or any other third party involved in the rental of the Property (including any provider or additional guest services or activities organised for you). Furthermore, you acknowledge that the Property may have dangers such as swimming pools, dry stone walls, access to roads, steep steps and unfenced drops. As such no Property will ever be presented by the Agency as completely child friendly, and children must be supervised at all times.

FORCE MAJEURE:

Neither Maven Collection (including its suppliers) nor the Owner can accept liability for any damages, losses, injuries or delays caused by any circumstances amounting to ‘Force-Majeure'. Such events may include (by way of example and not by way of limitation), any fire, flood, hurricane, war, government action, riots, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, pandemic and all similar events.

ACTUAL STATE OF THE PROPERTY

The Property will be maintained by the Owner in a good state to meet expected rental standards and the Guest commits to inhabit the Property in a respectful manner preventing, where possible, any kind of damage. The Guest and guests endeavour to hand the Property back in the same condition as it was received at check in. The Property must be left clean and tidy and the Agency reserves the right to charge the Guest a final cleaning fee should they deem the Property not left in that state. On occasion there may be breakdowns at the Property and the Agency will work with the Owner to resolve any issues within 24 hours. Please be aware however that there may be times, over weekends in particular, that some services and workmen do not work, or there may be further delays should parts need to be ordered Neither Maven Collection nor the Owner accept any liability for the intermittent failure of public utility supplies, sewage systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, telephone systems or internet connections in the Property, but we shall use our reasonable endeavours to arrange their repair. Neither does Maven Collection or Owner accept liability for any loss of enjoyment suffered as a consequence of any local engineering and / or construction work near the Property.

INTERNET:

Complimentary broadband internet access is offered at the Property. This is on the basis that neither Maven Collection nor the Owner guarantees that the service will be available constantly and that it is provided for recreational and not for business use. Neither a minimum speed, unrestricted bandwidth nor uninterrupted provision of an internet access service can be guaranteed and neither Maven Collection nor the Owner will be liable for any form of compensation or expenses claimed by any guest in respect of the provision of internet services or telephone services not being available or failing.

UTILITIES:

The costs of water, gas, oil, electricity and internet are included in the rental price. However, the Guest is asked to switch off the air conditioning and lights when not in the house and be extra conscious of water consumption Resources of all commodities can be fragile, especially during high season to support the extra visitor numbers.

VILLA ACCESS:

Some of our Properties are located on unpaved country roads, where local taxis may not come to. We can advise on transport solutions if required and can also arrange car rentals to suit the terrain. Occasionally Maven Collection or Owner may need to access the Property in order to effect services, inspections, repairs or supervision of any emergency works. These visits would always be announced in advance and the privacy of the Guest always respected.

PROPERTY SECURITY:

Though not widespread, from time to time Property break-ins may occur, many of which can be prevented should the Guest take all necessary safety precautions. Maven Collection asks that you use all alarm systems, secure all windows and doors, and keep any luxury items out of view when leaving the Property. For security reasons we ask that the Guest only uses suppliers approved by Maven Collection. Maven Collection accepts no responsibility for your personal belongings and advises you to take out fully comprehensive travel, medical and contents insurance. Maven Collection does not take responsibility for luggage custody, nor guarantee the availability of storage space at the Property both before check in and after check out. In the event that a member of the Agency staff agrees to assist you with your luggage that member of staff will be exonerated from any liability in respect of damages, theft or loss of said luggage. For security reasons, the name of the Property may have been changed and be different from the name which is on the gate.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Party Guest must provide us with a copy of their passport and home address, and the total number of occupants during the total rental period to allow the Owner to pay the correct amount of Balearic Eco Tax. At the start of your stay Maven Collection will need to collect a signature from all guests to register with the local police as required by law in Spain. The Guest must inform Maven Collection of any issues, breakages, breakdowns in or affecting the Property, or to its furniture or equipment. The Guest agrees that they will respect the Property at all times. The Guest will not sublet the Property and the number of guests staying at the Property must not exceed the number of sleeping places. The Guest will not carry out any illegal activities at the Property and will not disturb any neighbour's peaceful enjoyment of their Property. By Spanish law all music must be kept to an ambient level by midnight. Noise issues are dealt with very seriously by local law enforcement and you will be liable for any resulting fines and could also result in eviction from the Property. You will need to request permission from Maven Collection for any parties, events, photoshoots or gatherings prior to reserving the Property and in some cases the Owner may request an additional event fee. All photos and video recordings at the Property are for personal use only, and no pets are allowed without first prior consent from Maven Collection. Open fires and charcoal BBQs are prohibited during summer months and the Guest is liable for any fines resulting from their usage. All sets of keys must be kept safe and returned on check out, the Guest must report any lost sets of keys immediately and you will be responsible for the replacement costs of the keys, and in some cases the cost of changing all the locks of the Property if the keys are not all returned at check out.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES:

Check in time is 16.00. We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals on prior request. We ask in the instance that your arrival is delayed due to delayed or cancelled flights or ferries that you stay in telephone communication with our guest experience team to give updates on a revised arrival time so that they can coordinate your check in. Check out time is 10:00 and we kindly ask that all bags are packed and house checked over by you for any lost items, and that you be ready to depart at, or before, 10:00. If you need to vacate the property earlier please inform us in good time so that we can make the necessary arrangements for your check out. If you fail to vacate the Villa by 10:00 on the last day of the stay, we reserve the right to charge your cautionary deposit an additional fee.

ON THE GROUND SUPPORT:

We will provide you with a property guide for your reference in advance of your arrival. The guide will contain all the information required to enjoy your stay together with recommendations for things to do and places to visit. In the interests of security, you agree to keep such sensitive information confidential and will not print or discuss the contents of the property guide with any person not included in the booking party. Local Contact: You will be met at the Property by either the Property manager (employed by the Owner) or a member of our team. If you were met by the Property manager, someone from our team will call, or arrange a visit if preferred, to ensure you have all the information you need and that everything is in good working order. You will be contacted within the first 24 hours after arriving and at this visit will be asked to provide your passport and signature for us to register with the local police, following Spanish law.

  • Restaurants & Beach Clubs up to 7 people €35
  • Restaurants & Beach Clubs 8 people and over €50 
  • Club tables up to 7 people €50 
  • Club tables 8 people and over €100 
  • Last minute bookings within 48 hours of reservation an additional €50 plus IVA  
*VAT of 21% is not  included in the above fees **Venue bookings  up to 3 per week *** One change max per reservation To make the most of your time on the island and of our expertise and local knowledge, our Itinerary Planning service will offer you a tailor made experience as well as all of the below:
  • Daily suggestions on: restaurants, activities, services and places to visit in Ibiza
  • Coordination of additional services and experiences such as but not limited to outdoor activities, entertainment, health and beauty etc. 
  • Availability during office hours to make amendments to your bookings
  • Last minute bookings and reservations (during office hours)
  • Daily updated Itinerary 
  • Coordinating transport, if required, to the different venues booked
Prices depend on dates and group size, starting at €500 per week plus VAT
  • 100% of the fee will be payable at the time of booking
  • At least 50% provision of funds for estimated cost of services  to confirm services when booking more than 5 weeks in advance
  • The remaining balance will be payable 5 weeks before the start of the service
  • Any services booked within 5 weeks must be paid in full 
  • All payments must be settled before departure 
  • We reserve the right to charge the credit card provided for any unsettled supplier payments.
These services are offered on the following conditions:
  • Office hours management 10:00 - 20:00 
  • Up to one amendment per reservation included
  • Subject to availability

COMPLAINTS:

Any complaints should be made in writing to Maven Collection within 24 hours. The Lead Party Guest must make the complaint in writing.

DATA PROTECTION:

Maven Collection, Owner and Guest are acting under Spanish private data protection law (ley orgánica de protección de datos (LOPD) 15/1999 de 13 diciembre) and will not divulge any of the Guest's information to any third parties without written agreement of the above mentioned parties.

JURISDICTION:

Both parties agree specifically that the place of jurisdiction is in the courts of Ibiza. Any controversy arising from the present terms and conditions, be it the interpretation or fulfilment, shall be solved in the courts of Ibiza only.
