At 600 square metres of living space alone, this low-rise Ibiza-style villa is certainly generously proportioned by any standards. A calming palette of neutral tones combine with Mediterranean light to create breezy open-plan spaces filled with comfy seating, tasteful artworks and a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. Shelves lined with all kinds of books and wall-mounted curios add a homey, playful feel.
Stylish interiors flow seamlessly onto sunny outside terraces and gardens, and what an outside it is. Stretching 10,000 square metres, the vast grounds are bursting with fruit trees, the likes of apricots, peaches, figs and almonds. Tall palms, hot pink bougainvillea and giant cacti are also scattered around the elegantly landscaped grounds, all tied together with a soft carpet of manicured lawn. And as if that wasn’t enough, an elevated plot means you’re treated to some wonderful sweeping panoramas over neighbouring farmland, pine-clad hills and out to a shimmering strip of blue sea.
All this space is filled with an impressive range of holiday-friendly features, too. First off, the pool is divided into three sections – children’s pool, jacuzzi and main pool. The main section measures 10m x 6m and the kids’ water is heated by solar power. There’s loads more for the little ones besides, with a pirate-themed playground complete with swings, slides and playhouses. Grown-ups can burn off some energy too, with a half-sized football pitch and ping-pong table, or even hit the villa’s well-equipped gym.
Ample chilling opportunities include lots of cushioned loungers, a super-comfy poolside snug and wraparound terrace that leads to a barbecue area and summer kitchen. Inside the main kitchen comes seriously well equipped with the likes of Gaggenau and Miele appliances and a Nespresso machine. A Bose and Sonos music system throughout means music when and wherever the mood requires.
The villa’s six individually styled bedrooms can sleep up to 12 guests. Two rooms are in the main house and the remaining four in the garden annex. The master suite leads directly off the lounge, has a lovely big bathroom with a soaking tub, and a private terrace with sea views. Also in the main house the kids’ room with bunk bed and access to a private terrace.
