This blissfully secluded luxury villa is tucked away in the laid-back northeastern corner of Ibiza. As well as being within walking distance of the traditional-yet-cosmopolitan village of San Juan, you’re also just a short drive from the scenically rugged north coast, including the pretty coves of Cala Xarraca, Es Canaret and Portinatx. The three-centuries-old finca has been beautifully updated, with an artful melange of original features, high-end modern comforts and exotic touches. The outside space is especially charming, set in gorgeous gardens, with lots of spots to kick back and soak up the stunning island scenery.

There’s the rustic sabina wood beams still proudly on display, alongside exposed natural stone walls in all its timeless ruggedness. To these touches of rusticity has been added an eye-pleasing minimalism of microcement flooring and designer furnishings, together with a collection of bohemian and exotic flourishes that bring warmth and character.
Step outside, and the villa’s wonderful feeling of remoteness becomes apparent. You’re surrounded on three sides by the garden’s towering trees, colourful flowers and fragrant herbs, while one side looks out over the gently rolling island landscape and out to sea. Mature palms throw dappled shade over serene terraces. A hammock hung between two trees offers the perfect spot for an alfresco siesta. And it all comes together for a genuinely superb slice of laid-back holiday bliss.
The Details
At 12 x 6 metres, the villa’s pool offers plenty of space in which to cool off from the Mediterranean heat. Cushioned oversize loungers provide poolside comfor. The villa is set up for outdoor living, with an outside kitchen complete with barbecue dishwasher, fridge, sink, and stove top, plus stone dining table for up to 14 guests. Of course, there’s a modern fully-equipped kitchen indoors too, with granite-top island and wine fridge. For eating indoors there’s a dining room, which connects to an open lounge and a snug television room with Sky TV.
The villa’s five bedrooms sleep up to ten guests, each beautifully finished in a mix of calming tones and rustic-boho touches. The master suite is particularly special, with a private terrace and steps to a plunge pool, plus an extra annex bedroom perfect for children. All the bedrooms come with top-end comforts like 10-thread-count bed linens and luxurious fluffy towels. Bathrooms are all ensuite, with one featuring a huge soaking tub, while the master opens to an outside shower.
