Formentera has no airport. The island is reached by ferry from Ibiza, with regular crossings throughout the year. Ferries run frequently in summer and less often in winter, with journey times typically around 30–45 minutes.

When is the best time to visit Formentera?

The main season runs from May to October.

June and September are particularly popular for warm water, long days and a calmer atmosphere. July and August are busier, while spring and early autumn offer a quieter feel with excellent conditions for swimming and cycling.
