“Warm and welcoming, one-of-a-kind interiors are a study in blues, elegantly echoing the Mediterranean sky and Balearic sea…”
When it comes to gloriously unspoilt mountain-meets-sea surroundings, few on Mallorca can complete with this superb hillside villa. It’s located in the majestic Tramuntana Sierra, a short drive from the famously picturesque town of Deià, and with spectacular vistas over the scenic coast. The renovated stone-built house is wonderfully secluded too, while offering all the holiday-friendly features and comforts you’d expect from a luxury stay. And if all that wasn’t enough, you’re treated to one of the most amazing sunsets on the island.
The result of a top-to-toe renovation of a traditional Mallorcan country house, this luxury villa is brimming with character, sunlight and fresh Mediterranean styling. Warm and welcoming, one-of-a-kind interiors are a study in blues, elegantly echoing the Mediterranean sky and Balearic sea through a cheerful mix of patterned fabrics, rugs and tiling. At the heart of the home is a sunken living room featuring a beautifully tiled fireplace, plus there’s a cosy dining room and two drawing rooms where you can find space in which to relax.
The light here is particularly spectacular, thanks to a hillside setting overlooking a broad sea-meets-sky panorama. And there are numerous spots from where you can enjoy the superb vistas across the estate’s 13-hectare grounds, including covered lounge patios and an expansive pool terrace. The gardens are also scattered with orange, grapefruit and olive trees, as well as offering a swathe of manicured lawns and a vegetable patch. Even the local stone the property is built from glows with the dusk light and the sunsets from here are nothing short of magical.
Don’t let the sierra setting or rustic charm fool you, this villa has all the modern comforts and state-of-the-art tech you’ll need for a deluxe stay. All four bedrooms come with their own TV and Sonos sound system, together with ensuite bathrooms with fluffy towels and bathrobes. Beds also come topped with Egyptian cotton bed linen and some of the rooms open to a terrace with sunbeds and, of course, those stunning vistas.
As well as also boasting glorious views over the scenic surroundings, the villa’s pool is big enough for a decent swim and is lined with cushioned loungers to recline on afterwards. There’s also palapa-style shading poolside if you’d rather dry off under dappled sunlight. When you fancy visiting one of the nearby coves, the villa also provides beach towels and baskets for the trip.
The home is air-conditioned and heated for year-round use, plus there’s speedy wifi throughout too. A modern kitchen has all the appliances you need for cooking up family meals, and you can also arrange for grocery shopping to be delivered direct. For super-fresh produce, you can even help yourself to whatever happens to be ready to pick from the villa’s vegetable garden.
