With diverse beaches, restaurants, villages, countryside and cultural experiences on every island, guests can settle into one place, with much to explore.

Experiences

Life in the Balearics unfolds outdoors, on the water, along the coast, in villages and open landscapes. These are places to swim, sail, walk, eat well and move slowly, with each island offering its own pace and character.

USEFUL INFO

Which islands are included in the Balearics?

The Balearic Islands include Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera. Each island has a distinct character, from lively cultural scenes and dramatic landscapes to quieter, more rural settings, making the region suitable for a wide range of travel styles.

How do the Balearic Islands differ from each other?

Ibiza combines wild coastline, village life and a strong food and creative scene.

Mallorca offers the greatest variety, with mountains, countryside, beaches and historic towns.

Menorca is quieter and more protected, known for its coves and slower pace.

Formentera is the smallest and most low-key, with clear water, open beaches and a relaxed rhythm.

When is the best time to visit the Balearics?

The Balearics are most popular from May to October.

Spring and early summer offer warm weather with fewer crowds, while July and August are livelier.

September and October are ideal for swimming, outdoor dining and a slower pace after peak season.

Do I need a car when staying in the Balearics?

In most cases, yes. A car allows greater freedom to explore beaches, countryside and villages, especially on Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza. Formentera is smaller and easier to navigate, often by scooter or bicycle.

How do you get to the Balearic Islands?

Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca all have international airports with regular flights from across Europe.

Formentera is reached by ferry from Ibiza.

Ferry connections also operate between the islands, making travel within the Balearics straightforward.

Can you help plan a longer Spanish itinerary?

Yes. We help guests shape longer stays by offering local guidance, practical planning support and on-the-ground logistics. Rather than building rigid day-by-day schedules, we focus on helping guests settle into one place, understand their surroundings, and make the most of the island over time — with flexibility to adapt as the stay unfolds.
