Step outside into the garden, and you’re treated to a perfectly landscaped Mediterranean garden. A large south-facing sun terrace is surrounded by manicured lawns and scented flora while elegant cypress trees gently sway in the breeze. The Details
At 12 x 4 metres, the mosaic-tiled infinity pool is big enough for a swim, or just to cool off in while soaking up the lovely vistas. Flop onto a cushioned lounger, or head to the canopied Bali bed if you really want to spread out – it’s a great spot for a poolside siesta too. You can also take a break from the sun in the stone pool hut, plus there’s a hot tub in the corner of the terrace. There’s a petanque pitch nearby if the need for activity grabs you.
Also poolside is a summer kitchen, complete with purpose-built charcoal or wood barbecue and a long dining table for lingering lunches. Inside, the stylish open-plan kitchen-diner has stone worktops and wood accents, and comes equipped with top-end appliances and filtered water on-tap. A cosy lounge includes a corner snug, perfect for curling up with a book.
Up to ten guests can be accommodated across five bedrooms, two on the ground floor and three upstairs. All rooms are beautifully understated, with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in showers; the master suite adds a freestanding tub and double sink. One of the ground-floor rooms features French doors leading onto the terrace and its own private pergola too. The other is perfect for kids with a bunk bed and the possibility of adding extra beds.
