This stunning beachfront villa sleeps up to 12 guests across its five bedrooms and, together with 3,5000 square feet of living space, makes it great for large groups of friends or families. Its high-ceiled, sun-filled interiors are a superb beach-hut-chic blend of artful touches, natural materials and reclaimed elements. Patterned floor tiles were handmade by Merida artisans, while salvaged wood beams and flowing curved walls add an earthy organic vibe that echoes the natural surroundings.
At the centre of the villa, an airy open-plan living space combines a kitchen, a lounge and a dining area, where tall wraparound windows provide swoon-worthy views of the neighbouring beach and the sparkling Caribbean sea. From here, doors open directly onto an outdoor patio with bean-bag seating, a low-profile dining table and a private beachfront pool with palm-tree-dappled sunshine. You can also enjoy the spectacular vistas from two bedrooms that open to large sea-view balconies.
Each of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom, with a custom-built shower and premium honey-infused toiletries. The master bedroom features a shower-for-two and a comfy seating corner. One of the rooms also adds built-in bunk beds, ideal for kids but also suitable for grown-ups. In the kitchen you’ll find a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee and a blender for whizzing up breakfast smoothies or afternoon margaritas.
Groceries can also be ordered online and delivered to your door – Wifi here is free and fibre-optic quality. When you can’t be bothered to cook you can arrange for a chef to prepare dinner or just pop to the nearby taco shack. You also have access to a second guests-only pool, as well as water sports gear like sea kayaks and paddle boards. If you’re looking to realign your chakra, you can sign up for yoga and sound healing sessions that take place in the yoga studio or off-site in a private magical cenote.
