You enter the two-floor villa through up-cycled colonial doors and into a double-height reception area filled with light from a custom-made coloured glass window. Look down and you see lovely traditional handmade tiles made by artisans in Merida. You then step through into the main bright and spacious living space, with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy lounge that looks out onto the neighbouring white-sand beach.
Climb the stairs and cross an interior bridge to a dreamy master bedroom with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and a balcony with a palapa-style roof and stunning views over the turquoise waters. Custom design details throughout include wood-formed concrete and salvaged wood beams, all tied together with calming earth tones that echo the surrounding nature.
