This handsome finca-style villa boasts an enviable hilltop setting in Cala Bassa, with uninterrupted panoramas from numerous vantage points over the island’s dreamy northwest coast. The Design
When it comes to balancing the rustic charm of a traditional finca and creature comforts of a luxury villa, Casa Bella Vista does it with aplomb. Inside this typical Ibiza-style white whitewashed home terracotta tiled floors combine with high beamed ceilings for living spaces that stay cool in the summer heat; a big fireplace and underfloor heating are there to warm up those chilly nights off-season, too. Big comfy sofas and shelves lined with books add to the cosy homey feel. A family kitchen, with blue-glaze tiles, wooden units and decorative ceramics, continues the country-style vibe.
But it’s the villa’s wonderful outdoors where you’ll surely be spending most of your time. The Details
A full 15 metres of shimmering pool means you can start the day with a morning swim before your day of relaxing in the sun. You’ll find six extra-comfy cushioned loungers and a rustic-style Bali bed for chilling poolside. Set the mood with the portable Marshall Bluetooth speaker by the pool, plus the terrace can be enclosed if you’re travelling with little ones.
Even ambitious cooks have everything they’ll need in the Miele-equipped kitchen, including a professional juicer, Vitamix blender, Kenwood mixer and even an ice-cream – especially great fun with the kids. You’ll find a big barbecue terrace, too, with an outdoor summer kitchen and dining area for the perfect alfresco eating experience.
The villa’s five bedrooms sleep up to nine guests, all with plush beds fitted with 100% Egyptian cotton linen. The master bedroom features a four-poster bed, ensuite with soaking tub, and private sea-view terrace. The one ground-floor room also extends to its own terrace with a hammock, from where you can also soak up the view while you sway.
