This vibrant waterside hotel and restaurant is owned by Ibiza’s hippest hotelier, Pierre Traversier, and is a riot of colour, cocktails and music. The in-house boutique is one of the island’s best.

The restaurant is owned by Ibiza’s iconic World Family tribe, so expect conscious dining in joyful, bohemian surroundings, breakfast through to dinner, and there’s a fantastic organic supermarket next door too. 

On the doorstep is Benirrás beach, arguably Ibiza’s most iconic, where sunset drumming, great seafood and a cute little hippy market set the tone for an alternative slice of paradise.

A favourite with the locals S’Arenal Petit is very family friendly with easy parking, shallow waters over white sand and little coves for children to explore. It’s also the location of one our favourite restaurants Rebrots.

The teeny terrace is packed with textural finds – think raffia-framed mirrors, woven placemats and traditional Ibicencan shoulder baskets. Indoors, the low-roofed interior is crammed with home décor, table linens, clothing, artwork and jewellery that adheres to a low-impact, small-batch manifesto. Owners Jaime and Barbara champion local makers where possible, so expect one-off ceramics and woodwork pieces that are handcrafted on the island as well as established brands like the breezy, bohemian, California-fave Free People

Santa Gertrudis, where a cosmopolitan crowd convene at one of the many pavement cafes or boutiques or the playground next to the ice cream shop. There’s stacks to do for families here.
