The Design
Upon setting foot inside this villa, you can’t help but feel an immediate sense of calm. The soothing palette of whitewashed walls, natural stone and warm woods combines with aplomb for an inviting homely-yet-chic vibe. Microcement flooring also creates a cool counterbalance to the earthy tones and exotic touches scattered throughout the property.
The main house is set over one floor, including a large and well-equipped, sun-filled kitchen with dining table and a separate lounge with a log fire – perfect for snuggling in front of on cooler evenings. The central living space has big glass doors, too, allowing the summer breeze to enter and circulate, which also lead outside to the garden. The Details
The villa’s kidney-shaped swimming pool is a blissful spot to cool off in, before returning to your cushioned sun lounger – there are more than enough for everyone. A hammock and Bali bed also offer perfect opportunities for afternoon alfresco siestas. A sail provides shade over the outside dining area, which includes a poolside casita with summer kitchen and coal-fired barbecue. The outside space is also particularly well equipped for kids, too, with a climbing frame, football goal posts, and trampoline – and of course a huge lawn to run around on.
The villa’s five bedrooms are spread between the main house and a separate garden annex. They all continue in the style of airy and understated elegance, with a spacious master bedroom boasting its own terrace and ensuite bathroom with stone corner tub.
